Investors In People
Our last Investors in People review was undertaken in July 2021. The key objective of this review was to measure to what extent St Damian’s has continued to meet the requirements of the Investors In People Standard.
During the assessment our assessor, Carol Davidson met with a number of staff and found that St Damian’s continues to meet the Investors in People standard. Key areas of good practice were highlighted as robust planning process in our comprehensive College Improvement Plan, the learning and development of all staff was focused on achieving our objectives, and everyone clearly understood their job roles and how they contribute to the success of the school.
St Damian’s first gained Investors in People accreditation in 1997 and this is our fifth review against the standard. We have continued to improve our performance, having achieved the best ever results in our fifty year history. Having carried out the assessment process in accordance with the guidelines provided for assessors by UK Commission for Employment and Skills, the Specialist was satisfied beyond any doubt that St Damian’s meets the requirements of the Investors in People Standard. Mrs Davidson also confirmed that we met 171 evidence requirements of the framework and this equates to a GOLD award (which requires a least 165).
