Teacher of Spanish

St Damian’s is a heavily oversubscribed Roman Catholic Science College which is committed to the professional development of staff and promoting the welfare of children.


We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative teacher of Spanish.  This post is suitable for an ECT or an established teacher. There is access to a well-established range of exciting curriculum materials that inspire and motivate pupils. The uptake of MFL at St Damian’s is outstanding- 76% of our total cohort took a language GCSE in 2023. 74% achieved a grade 4-9 and 49% achieved a grade 5-9. These results are the outcome of exceptional pastoral care, high-quality teaching, and strong leadership. We are looking for a teacher who will ensure our children continue to receive an excellent education.


The person we are looking for will be committed to enthusing children of all abilities, be passionate about teaching and learning, and will be supportive of the College’s Catholic ethos. In both our current Ofsted report and Section 48 report we were judged Outstanding in all areas.
