St Damian’s is a heavily oversubscribed Roman Catholic Science College which is committed to the professional development of staff and promoting the welfare of children.
We are seeking an experienced Technology Technician. The successful candidate will support the day to day operation and delivery of the technology curriculum in order to ensure the support to teachers so that students perform at their best and ensure pupil progress. You will work under the instruction/guidance of teacher/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
You will be required for 30 hours each week, term time only. St Damian’s is situated on the Tameside and Oldham border and is widely recognised for the quality of care it provides for all pupils and the professional opportunities afforded to all colleagues.
