St Damian’s is a heavily oversubscribed Roman Catholic Science College which is committed to the professional development of staff and promoting the welfare of children.

 

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced LSA to provide welfare support in addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning, by delivering an efficient and effective pastoral support for our Ambrose and Seclusion Suite which has 2 main functions, (1) Drop-in for vulnerable pupils, and (2) Seclusion area.

 

In November 2017 we were judged by Ofsted to be Outstanding and we consistently produce at least good outcomes for our great children. “The school is moving forward and is well on its way to being a beacon of excellence for pupils who have special educational needs (SEN) and/or disabilities”.  [Ofsted]
