Diamond Jubilee Festival

As you all know St Damian’s Share and Reward Day is always one of the highlights of our calendar and this year we want it to be a very memorable day for our great children here at St Damian’s. 

 

St Damian’s is celebrating it’s 60th Anniversary and we would like to invite pupils to be our VIP guests and celebrate at the Diamond Jubilee Festival.

 

The day will start with the traditional walk up to Hartshead Pike and afterwards pupils will be entertained at the Festival.

 

Headlining on the Diamond Stage will be SCAPEGRACE [supporting act for Happy Mondays 2024], along with Aaron Sax, Imogen-Paige, DJ Denis and more.  Pupils will also be able to show off their own talents at the open mic tent!  There will also be Ian’s Close Up Magic, face painting, photo booth and much more.

 

At the Festival pupils can purchase additional refreshments such as fish and chips, bubble tea, ice-cream van, hotdogs, popcorn, candy floss, chocolate fountain and drinks.   Don’t forget your pocket money and a picnic blanket.

 

We are asking for a voluntary donation of £10.00 per pupil via ParentMail or cash payment can be brought into school in an envelope with your child’s name on.   Any proceeds from the day will be donated to St Damian’s chosen charities for 2023 – Reuben’s Retreat, 60 for The Christie and Emmaus, Mossley.
