Diamond Jubilee Festival

St Damian’s celebrated it’s 60th Anniversary with performances and VIP guests.  £6,000 was raised for Reuben’s Retreat, The Christie and Emmaus, Mossley.

 

The day started with the traditional walk up to Hartshead Pike and afterwards pupils had fun at the Festival.

 

Headlining on the Diamond Stage was be SCAPEGRACE [supporting act for Happy Mondays 2024], along with Aaron Sax, Imogen-Paige, DJ Denis and more.  Pupils showed off their own talents at the open mic tent!  There was also Ian’s Close Up Magic, face painting, photo booth and much more.

 

At the Festival pupils purchased additional refreshments such as fish and chips, bubble tea, ice-cream van, hotdogs, popcorn, candy floss, chocolate fountain and drinks.
