Learning Science at St Damian’s encourages critical thinkers through development of Scientific enquiry skills allowing pupils to understand and challenge scientific issues. Both substantive and disciplinary knowledge are developed over time by careful sequencing and interleaving of the curriculum. We also aim to open career opportunities by embedding essential transferrable skills of analysing, problem solving and using scientific language to communicate.
