The LGBT+ Club welcomes pupils of all sexualities and gender identities Wednesday lunchtimes in Ambrose. We aim to achieve an inclusive and supportive environment where student-led initiatives are valued in order to create a positive LGBT+ ethos, in keeping with our Catholic Values of love and tolerance for all.

Miss Rowlinson has submitted St Damian’s RC Science College for the Rainbow Trust Award. Through staff training and working to promote LGBT+ positivity, we have now achieved the first section of the award. ‘Skilled Teacher’. Members of the LGBT+ club will continue to work with Miss Rowlinson to achieve the other 5 sections. The Rainbow Flag Award is a national quality assurance framework for schools. The award focuses on positive LGBT+ identities, inclusion and visibility.
