Finalist in the British Training Awards 2025
We are delighted to announce that our Headteacher, Sheldon Logue has been named a Finalist in the ‘Leader of the Year’ people awards category at the British Training Awards 2025.

With a range of categories the British Training Awards sets out to discover and celebrate the teams and individuals who are truly passionate about Learning and Development’s role in building a thriving workforce.
​
This year, over 360 entries were received from organisations across the UK, and so competition to be named a Finalist proved to be fierce. Firms taking part range from start-up pioneers to public sector heroes, tech trailblazers, global titans and everything in between.

Sheldon said “I was shocked, humbled and delighted in equal measures when informed about this award. I truly believe in a great workforce where staff are valued, empowered and are equipped to do the best job that they can. At the heart of this are 2 strands. Firstly, professional development. This is integral to a thriving workforce that needs to be pertinent to the individual yet meets the strategic needs of the school. The second strand is wellbeing. Staff wellbeing doesn’t just happen and needs to be systematically planned through a range of initiatives and/or looking at work practices within the school. Being a small school helps as I get to know the staff as individuals. To summarise, my staff are great, work extremely hard and are highly professional in ensuring we ‘serve’ the students and wider members of this community. This nomination is a testament to their dedication.”
